- Alexis Sanchez
The best player in this season so far is Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal. No other forward player in football seems to run so much. Moreover, only a few players are as good as Sanchez and share the same vision. He has four assists and four goals in six games in the month of December, owing to which Arsenal is in the race for the EPL title.
However, this does not mean that he never loses games. Moreover, he sometimes gets angry with his team mates, like in the recent two games where he was exasperated at the inability of his club mates to convert his chances. The fans of Gunners will want this superstar to be there in Arsenal for a longer time period than 18 months as per his contract.
- Eden Hazard
This Chelsea player has completed 87% of his dribbles out of 37 that he attempted. There are only two more football players, who tried more dribbles than him, namely Wilfried Zaha and Soufane Boufal who managed to get 38% and 59% success rate respectively. Hazard can become the player of this season owing to his superb performance till now, particularly in the month of December, when he scored two goals, created 12 chances, and assisted one.
- Diego Costa
Diego Costa has been involved in a lot of goals in this season of the EPL, especially in the latest month, unlike any other European player. Two out of four goals that he scored recently were due to his pure desire and sheer determination to score.
The Chelsea player maintains his cool to shoot the ball from tricky angles, while defenders bounce off against him. Costa, the winner of the match against West Brom, played fantastically as one of the best drawer striker.
- Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba has tried too hard to achieve this spot. Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed with this that when the Manchester United player moved to the team at first, he tried hard to make an impression. The player uses skill and trick to make his match entertaining, which achieving what he wants.

Manchester United has certainly bought a great European midfielder.
- Dimitri Payet
The West Ham player is the one player that has created the most chances after whom is Eriksen. He has set up 26 chances with one converted one. He has good free-kick ability. He also recently scored a goal against Liverpool.
- Christian Eriksen
Eriksen is playing wonderfully these days for the Spurs. He has created 21 chances for this team as well as scored 4 times in the month of December. Besides him, there is only one other player who has created more opportunities for his team, namely Dimitri Payet. If Eriksen performs like this throughout the season, then Spurs can move ahead of Chelsea.
- Cesc Fabregas
The Chelsea player is a really good midfielder. He has recently made 4 assists in partnership with Alexis Sanchez. Plus, he created 15 chances and scored one goal. A few of his long and direct passes for Diego Costa were too great. Cesc should definitely stay in Chelsea, although at first it seemed like he was going to be transferred in the January transfer window.

Jonny Evans is playing superb in this season of the Premier League. The West Brom player scored a goal in December, but much more than that the leadership of the back four players and his composure with the ball has helped his team to move forward in the league at the eight spot. This also indicates that Evans may be asked for his availability and price in the January window.

Willian is playing in his top form for his club, Chelsea. Although he sat out in some of the games in the beginning of the season, Willian returned to his team with great oomph. He recorded one assist and three goals in the month of December with a dribble success rate of 70%. The hard work of this talented Brazilian forward player is paying off now.
- Idrissa Gueye
Gueye has made many tackles in the month of December 2016 with 27 tackles for Everton. Moreover, he has interrupted the ball 18 times, which is the third best so far. He is doing a great job in this season of the Premier League.
