St. James' Park Tickets Information

Tickets, Seats and Stands

There are four stands in St. James’ Park.
  • The Gallowgate End is at the Southern end of the ground and is single tiered.
  • The Leazes End is at the Northern end of the ground and is double tiered with a level of executive boxes between them. This stand has a good atmosphere because it’s where the hard core fans and the away team sits.
  • The Milburn stand is the main stand in the ground and located on the West end. It’s also double tiered with a level of executive boxes between them.
  • The East End is the smallest of the four stands and located in the East end.
You must be wondering where the best seats in the football stadium are. St. James’ Park has 4 main ticket categories.

Away fans sit on the very far end of the Leazes Stand, in the top tier. It can fit up to 3000 supporters. The area is quite far from the pitch and up 140 stairs.
The view of the stadium is wonderful, you can even see the countryside of Newcastle in the distance. To enter the park, use turnstile 91-94 which can be found in the Leazes Stand.

St. James’ Park history

St. James’ Park is the oldest and largest stadium in North-East England. It has been home to the Newcastle United F.C since 1892 but it has been used for football matches since 1880. The original name of the team that started playing at St. James’ Park in 1880 was Newcastle Rangers but the team didn’t last long.
